EasySDI is based on a service oriented architecture (SOA) which offers a user-friendly interface (Web 2.0) and let time consuming treatments server-side.

The solution is developed with:

• PHP for Web pages rendering - called EasySDI Client
• JAVA to publish business web services manipulating data - called EasySDI Server

Minimum prerequisites

• PHP 5.x framework - supported by a Web server such as Apache or IIS
• JAVA 1.5.x framework - supported by a servlet container such as JETTY, TOMCAT, ...
• MYSQL 5.x database

Tierce applications

EasySDI makes best use of :

• Geoserver 2.1 (OGC map server for data publication)
• Geonetwork 2.4.2 or later (CSW compliant metadata server)

Nevertheles, EasySDI can be used in combination with any other OGC compliant application.

Applications Web Container

The content management system JOOMLA! in 1.5.x version is also a prerequisite to run EasySDI user interface. It allows to deploy EasySDI into an existing Web portal offering already editorial and content/layout dispatch functionalities.
