Rémy Baud, EasySDI core developer, specifically on PUBLISH, is selected among SDI swiss projects for the Innovation award in category "Newcomer" of e-egeo.ch !

This nomination is the result of Rémy Baud and Antoine Elbel Master thesis on PUBLISH, a module offering a user-friendly and easy interface to publish geodata via OGC web services within five minutes. PUBLISH makes best use of Geoserver and the popular Joomla! CMS.
The module is currently available in version 0.9.

The ceremony and announcement of the winners of the e-geo.ch Innovation Awards will take place at the e-geo.ch Forum this 12th november in Zürich.

The e-geo.ch Innovation Award assists and supports participants and their innovations. The award honors participants who contribute to NSDI with their innovative ideas and projects, and promotes education and research in the realms of geo-information in Switzerland.
EasySDI is a simple and ready-to-use solution to deploy a Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) based on ISO/OGC standards. It aims to fullfill INSPIRE directive and the needs of organisations willing to share their geodata. The solution is particularly designed for setting up discovery, view and download services in a securized environnement with rights management and multilingual support.
