Using Native APIs in Sencha Desktop Packager
Sencha Desktop Packager lets you to take an existing web application and deploy it as a desktop application. You can also integrate with the native platform by using additional APIs to create menus, show file dialogs, and access the file system. In this blog post, we’ll show a simple text editor to demonstrate the use of these native APIs.

Animator 1.5, our biggest update yet, powerful and easy to use than ever. This release improves core functionality in exporting, embedding and browser support, and also adds desired features such as symbols and multiple timelines. This update exponentially increases the possibilities in creating CSS3 animations. In order to make you even more productive with Animator, we revised the interface and added several new workflow improvements such as the new inline text editor, the code snippet library and the much improved JS API.

Building SAP mobile apps with Sencha Touch
If you are working in a large corporate environment, chances are likely that your business data is in SAP systems. SAP is a leading enterprise software vendor. Traditionally SAP was a closed environment using proprietary UI solutions. More recently, however, SAP is opening its ecosystem by embracing open web standards and partnering with leading client framework vendors such as Sencha.
In this blog I will show how you can use Sencha Touch to create mobile apps that connect to SAP business data. Our integration will be based on SAP NetWeaver Gateway and Sencha’s SAP OData connector.
